Biography

Tom Dabasinskas has spent over 28 years helping individuals and teams in the nonprofit sector reach their personal and professional potential. He has helped both small and large organizations identify their goals and take the practical steps towards achieving them. By focusing on both competencies and character, Tom helps people experience increased effectiveness and lasting fulfillment. His extensive international work also provides perspective and insight into multicultural leadership environments.

Tom specializes in helping people lead during times of transition, build teams, plan strategically, resolve conflict and experience lasting change. He utilizes various tools like Meyers Briggs, Strength Finders, SWOT analysis and Appreciative Inquiry to help people gain awareness and discern practical steps toward development.

He has served in senior leadership positions at Community Presbyterian Church in Danville, CA, San Ramon Presbyterian Church in San Ramon, CA, Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church in Moraga, CA and most recently at Highlands Community Church in Renton, WA. He has also helped over 20 different churches and nonprofits navigate critical changes related to leadership transitions, organizational crisis and times of significant growth.

Tom attended the University of Southern California where he graduated with honors from their business school. He played football with a USC team that went to three consecutive Rose Bowls and was a Rhodes Scholar finalist. He got his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, where his emphasis was studying faithful leadership in the workplace.
